How is this story relevant to us? It would really be nice if JFLAG didn't insist on acting like Jamaica is some abused stepchild of the US, by putting US stories on the blog that bear no relationship or offer any insight into what we are trying to build, if anything. And I certainly hope that JFLAG is not so foolish as to even introduce the marriage question here!
Please, give the content of this blog a little thought and invite people to post who have something to say on a variety of topics that we really could stand to learn more about. The "intersex" article is a beginning, albeit with a US bias that makes it almost useless. And please write as if you are aiming for all your readers to understand, rather than talking in jargon as if you are at a UN meeting or something. See for example, the recent post on the postponement of GLABCOM. There is a lot to say about this issue that does not depend on JASL's say-so. But the post said nothing, allowing much room for speculation and casting blame in the wrong directions. Again, a little thought and effort regarding what is being posted would be much appreciated.
